About the event
Many people decide to get a puppy once they have lost an older dog which they may have lived with for years, so it often comes as a bit of a shock when a new puppy arrives in their home that bringing a puppy into a home can be so exhausting and demanding. It is often forgotten after those 10-15 years just how exhausting and demanding a puppy can be.
A lot has changed over the last 10 years, we have more information on how puppies develop both mentally and physically so this often leaves new puppy guardians at a loss as to exactly what is needed and social media is always ready to provide answers and absolutes and a lot of this does not provide good positive information as to how to provide the right things for a puppy to develop into a happy healthy adult.
This webinar will look at
- How to manage expectations
- Socialisation and building social skills
- “Puppy blues”
- Helping a puppy to explore their new world
- Helping a puppy to grow into a happy, healthy adult
