This webinar will look at the impact various aspects of the dog's environment can have on their ability to learn (including relearn!).

With a short introduction on how the gut to brain axis functions in relation to learning, we will then look at the potential for stress, exercise, sleep and enrichment to boost new learning potential before we start creating a training or behaviour modification plan for the dogs we are working with.

Looking at the most up to date science on activities such as chewing, scent work and choice as factors in cognitive potential, we will consider the definition and role of executive functions for our pet dogs.

Boosting learning potential can become a routine part of what we can offer dogs and the people they share their lives with to maximise enthusiasm and success.
